Dear friends,
Dear friends, dear friends, dear friends,
I do pray this is not the end,
I have something to say,
No, no, don’t go away.
You may think of me, sometimes
Ignore me, that’s fine
I’m in the office, just in the corner,
I don’t really want to cause bother.
There’s something I want to say
I know it’s quite cold today
You see, when you’re in a shiver
It’s very cold also in hither
Have you guessed who I am, as you sit in the pews?
You need me for this news,
When I’m cold things get stuck,
I feel really out of luck.
Luke shouts and makes me feel down,
Margaret is gentle, does not frown.
So do me a favour, don’t switch me off
Keep me warm, turned on, I promise the cost won’t be a lot.
Thank you for taking the time,
Please think about my rhyme,
Yes leave me turned on, save the tears,
And I promise I’ll last for years.
Mr. C. O. Pier

Next week we are holding our 24 hours of prayer noon Sat 25th - noon 26th, in fact God is getting 25 hours of prayer as the clock is changing! We have now done a full year and it is wonderful how God has blessed us, PRAISE THE LORD. The four times we spent 24 hours in prayer were a huge challenge; from which our church has benefited. So we challenge everyone reading this to join us and give a sizable time to God, to sit and let the Holy Spirit minister and lead you. This is an opportunity for us all to pray for our Circuit, side by side, a body of Christ. We have reached a trying time, so we must sit together and listen to God! As usual we shall have snacks, books, music, activities and thought provoking tasks to keep us going, stimulate and encourage prayer. If you are unable to be with us in body, why not join us in Spirit and spend the 24 hours in prayer where ever you are, please let us know so we can support each other. Then lets share experiences afterwards of the vision and dreams we had, of what God had said, and done for us!
We look forward to welcoming many people!
