Dear friends,
This week Central Hall celebrates Home Missions Sunday. I am please that David Westwood and John Holmes have agreed to come and speak at our services.
I’m sure David Westwood is no stranger to us but I guess not many will know John Holmes. John is from Hull Forward; their website tells us a bit about him and the organizations role:
John joined the team from Regional Development Agency One North East, where he was Director of Regeneration and Tourism. John, a Chartered Surveyor, was born in County Durham and has over 20 years experience in the public and private sector in major physical, economic and social regeneration, housing and economic development.
In simple terms, Hull Forward builds on Hull Citybuild's success, further developing the delivery of economic development, physical regeneration schemes and projects across the city.
For me Home Missions is about faith making a difference where we are. I trust you will be encouraged by what you hear today.
God Bless,
Luke
