Dear friends,
A poem by Dean
Mother’s Day
A very happy Mother’s Day,
To all you mum’s out there,
Warm messages sent to you,
Showing that someone cares.
Fondly you raised us up,
With your motherly love,
All actions been blessed,
From heaven above.
When we are growing older,
Advising us as best you can,
Teaching all thing new,
Since our lives began.
The knowledge you mum’s
Can give in support to us all,
Helping sons and daughters,
To each stand firm and tall.
Polite Notice
Some of you may not know we have a counselling service using our premises Monday to Friday, Called Therapy Services.
They use what was the Stewards room as an office and also the small room in the ‘Bank’ for counselling. We mention this so that should anyone need to enter the ‘Bank’ for whatever reason would you please be as quite as you possibly can to ensure Therapy Services are not disturbed.
Thank you.
World Mission Boxes
These are now due in for emptying for the second quarter and Roger would be pleased to receive them and any donations you would to give.
Boxes may be handed to Roger or left in the office. Thank you.
Bible Society
Thank you so much to everybody who contributed towards the Bible Society.
I was able to send £161.30. For anyone who would like to see, there is a letter of thanks from the Bible society on the notice board.
We take so much for granted just being able to put our hands on a Bible whenever we want to and its good being able to help those who can't.
Thank you. Audrey.
