Dear friends,

The following is a song especially written by James Pawson for Luke and  all worshiping members.

Tune Blessed Assurance

Strong in His love for those who believe

His strength abideth for all who grieve,

and sevenfold gifts in bountiful store,

Ask and you’ll receive, His graces outpour.

O divine Physician, heal all our ills

our broken spirit, and all our wills

Lord grant us patience in our delay

be though our stronghold, lest life ebbs away.

Trust in him who directs our ways

Joyfully call on Him with heartfelt praise.

For loyal hearts, God will not spurn.

It is in Him we hope to return

Strong is His love, he raises the poor,

mighty in battle,  fearless in war.

He bids us follow Him to the end,

at His Holy name, all knees shall bend.

Vision day

You may recall a few weeks ago David Robinson wrote in the bulletin about progress with the redevelopment scheme. He mentioned a day to look at and discuss our future thoughts. This will be on Tuesday 30th June 10am-3pm at Bishop Burton Methodist Church. The day will be led by Trish Mitchell the district development enabler and is open to anyone who wishes to discuss the future of Central Hall. It would be good to see as many as possible. Drinks will be available on arrival as well as use of a kitchen throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch.

I realise transport may be an issue for some of us, so if you require a lift please let me know. Likewise if you can offer a lift please let me know.

On 30th June to coffee bar will be closed.
