Dear friends,
This morning at Central Hall Peter Vince will lead a Christingle Service
Christingle services bring together family and friends of all ages. Held from Advent to Epiphany, this festive celebration communicates the Christian message in an inspiring way to adults and children alike. Its wide appeal makes it an ideal way to encourage newcomers to church, particularly children and extend your congregation.
When you consider the Christingle orange, you can see it is made up of four components. The four cocktail sticks with sweets and fruit to illustrate God's good gifts and the four seasons, the red ribbon symbolising the Blood of Christ, the orange, representing the world and the candle, representing Jesus the Light of the World.
I know this is a high point for the Central Hall congregation and pray all will find it inspiring.
God Bless,
Luke
